Tuesday Thoughts
Dear Reader,
I wish I could tell you how much has happened since we last spoke in August - which is way too long for me to go without writing, by the way. I am now a stay-at-home mom to TWO sweet babies. We welcomed our sweet little boy in February, and life has been super busy and sweet. Our little girl loves him so much, and I’m so blessed God chose me to be their mama.
I will be honest with you… Sometimes I struggle coming up with the “perfect” thing to write. I think it would be fun to format my writing like a letter to a friend when I can’t figure out what to write.
My husband and I survived yet ANOTHER tax season with a newborn. I am so thankful for these shorter work days, when he gets to come home earlier. Summer feels like it is officially here. My daughter and I are playing outside while baby boy naps. What a beautiful day to be alive. When everything in the world seems so dark and evil, I am sitting here trying to keep this day etched in my mind. The warm sun. The small breeze. A sweet little family. A quiet neighborhood. Birds singing.
I was just listening to a song that says, “I won’t let the rocks cry out for me.” I might be praising God for simply “the little things.” I am not going to let the rocks cry out for me. He is everything to me, and He is worthy of all of the praise.
I hope you have a blessed day today. I want to remind you that Jesus loves you, and He has a plan for your life greater than you could ever imagine.
With love,
Hannah
